Jeannine Alaine Voeks

Jeannine Alaine Voeks, 63, of Green Bay, went to be in the arms of her loving Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. Born on Oct. 15, 1950, in Green Bay, she was the daughter of Carl Busch and the late Dorraine (Hanstedt) Busch.

Jeannine grew up in the Bonduel area and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1968. After high school, Jeannine lived in Appleton, where she worked at AAL for 10 years. She then lived for many years in Juneau, where she worked as a CNA for Clearview Nursing Home. For the last few years she lived in Green Bay, where she worked for Kindred Hearts. Jeannine was a member of the Christ of the Bay Church in Green Bay and was a former Jaycee and volunteer for the Special Olympics. When not working, Jeannine enjoyed playing Scrabble, watching the birds and collecting angels. In her younger years, she also enjoyed bowling and traveling.

Jeannine is survived by her daughter, Rachel Voeks; her former husband, Darrell Voeks; her father, Carl Busch, of Bonduel; three sisters, Carla Parsons, of Bonduel, Noreen (David) Gruel, of Chilton, Cheryl (John) Paholke, of Bonduel; and three brothers, Wesley Busch, of Bonduel, Rodney (Rose Marie) Busch, of Oshkosh, and Neil Busch, of Zachow.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her son, Michael, and her mother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at the Christ of the Bay Church in Green Bay with the Rev. Curtis DeCoste officiating. Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Juneau. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bellin Hospital, at Unity Hospice and at Evergreen Care Center in Shawano for the compassionate care that was given to Jeannine.

Agnes M. “Angie” Murphy

Agnes M. “Angie” Murphy, 89, Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1924, in Green Bay to the late Thomas and Francis (Wygralak) Taylor.

Angie married the love of her life, Maurice “Morris” Murphy, in October 1945. They had six children together and celebrated many years of marriage until Morris’ passing on June 11, 2006.

Survivors include five children, Richard “Rick” (Gail), Daniel J. (Patricia Ann), Lynne, Christine (Lee) and Timothy P. (Holly); 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Delores Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Morris; her parents; son, Jeff; one grandson; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A funeral service will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ken DeGroot, O. Praem, officiating. Burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

Angie’s family would like to extend a thank you to Unity Hospice and the staff at St. Vincent Hospital ninth floor.

Dean F. Kroenke

Dean F. Kroenke, 81, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, after a long battle with heart failure. He was born May 16, 1932, in Shawano.

Dean graduated from MSOE with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and was proud to have worked on the Atlas missile and the Apollo space programs

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sally (nee Koeppen); daughters, Nanette (Terry) Kloth and Nadine (Scott) Miller; and son, Michael. Beloved grandfather of Megan Kloth and Aidan Miller. He is also survived by a sister, Shirley Wolff, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Llewelyn.

Visitation will take place Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 W. Janesville Road, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Dr. Keith Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Heritage Funeral Homes (Altstadt-Tyborski-Johnson-Reiss-Klemmer) is assisting the family.

Marcella Ann Rusch

Marcella Ann Rusch, 71, of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at her home. Born on June 4, 1942, in Appleton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Luella (Witt) Klitzke.

Marcella grew up in the Seymour area. On Oct. 1, 1960, she was united in marriage to Leon R. Rusch in Seymour. After marriage the couple made their home and raised their family in the town of Angelica. Marcella enjoyed being a homemaker and a mother and took great pride in raising and caring for her family. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and collecting pigs. Marcella was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow.

Marcella is survived by three daughters, Ruth (Dan) Forbes, of Cecil, Debbie (Dan) Villenauve, of Krakow, Carol Rusch, of Cecil; three sons, Dennis (Cory) Rusch, of Krakow, Herb Rusch, of Pulaski, John Rusch, of Bonduel; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Cliff (Sandy) Klitzke, of Seymour; and three sisters, Jeanette Schroeder, of Appleton, Caroline Kazik, of De Pere, and Edith (Tom) Bakran, of Green Bay.

Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, on Feb. 28, 2011, her parents, an infant son, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow with the Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel is assisting the family with the arrangements.

The family would like thank the nurses at Heartland Home Hospice for the care given to Marcella. The entire family would also like to thank Marcella’s daughter, Carol, and Marcella’s son, Herb, for the special care, love and attention given to her over the last few years.

Jerome F. “Jerry” Bukoski

Jerome F. “Jerry” Bukoski, 58, of the town of Washington, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at his home. Born on Dec. 23, 1955, in Pound, he was the son of the late Harry and Theresa (Konowalski) Bukoski.

On Aug. 4, 1978, he was united in marriage to Connie Sperberg in Oconomowoc. Jerry cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren whether he was teaching them to play the guitar or taking them ice fishing. Jerry also enjoyed going to the demolition derbies, stock car races and ice races and was the founder of the Fire on Ice Racing Club. Jerry’s ability to build anything out of nothing benefited his job in the maintenance department well. He also worked at various auto parts stores in the area for many years. When not at work, Jerry enjoyed helping out his many friends, listening to music and camping. He also enjoyed lighting off fireworks and was a self-proclaimed “expert.”

Jerry is survived by his wife, of 35 years, Connie; his son, Nathan (Summer) Bukoski, of Fall River; his daughter, Tess (Patrick) Hendricks, of Shawano; a stepson, Chad (Tina) Burr, of Shawano; and six grandchildren, Destiny, Connor, Olivia, Macey, Gabriella and Parker. Jerry is further survived by a brother, Robert Bukoski, of Tigerton; a sister, Terri (Greg) Shopofski, of Tigerton; sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Tarkowski, of Florida, Pat Tarkowski, of Green Bay, Carol (Don) Brei, of Shawano; two brothers-in-law, Calvin (Patty) Sperberg, of Green Bay, Chris (Kathy) Sperberg, of Shawano; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including great long-time friend Mike “Tex” (Cindy Craig) Winkler, of Shawano.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and David Tarkowski.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, from 11 a.m. until a time of sharing at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Leonard A. Neosh

Leonard A. Neosh, 52, of Neopit, died on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in Appleton. Born on Sept. 8, 1961, in Shawano, he is the son of Thelma A. (Waubanascum) Neosh and the late Mose Neosh.

Leonard enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country as a ranger. Leonard was united in marriage to Dorothy Weber on Oct. 31, 1999, in Keshena and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit. Leonard lived on the Menominee Reservation most of his life and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football and spending time with his grandchildren.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his children, Janice (Mike Fish) Neosh, of Green Bay, Sandrea (Robert) Shawano, of Keshena, Aweh-awasit M. Weber, of Kentucky, Mose Neosh, of Sheboygan Falls, Dwight (Shawna) LaRock, of Cecil; his baby, Cordelain Smith; his mother, Thelma; 13 grandchildren; special grandchildren, Dandy Fish and Cashmere Shawano; and two sisters, Stephanie Neosh, of Keshena, and Donna Neosh, of Green Bay.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mose, and two brothers, Lyle and Neil.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O.Praem, officiating. Visitation is being held at the Noelle Madosh residence, N412 Chief Souligney Road, from 4 p.m. Saturday until the procession leaves for church on Monday. A parish wake service will be held at the residence on Sunday at 7 p.m.

Richard F. Karst

Richard F. “Dick” Karst, 78, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at his home. Born on Jan. 28, 1936, in Oshkosh, he was one of 15 children born to the late Sylvester “Pat” and Lorraine C. (Gustavus) Karst.

On Aug. 5, 1962, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Baier at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh. After earning a bachelor’s degree, Dick worked as a metallurgist at Universal Foundry in Oshkosh until 1982. In 1984 he and his family moved to the Shawano area, where he worked for ArrowCast until retiring in 2001. After retiring, Dick continued to work two days a week as a consultant for the foundry industry.

Dick was well-known for his waterfowl and songbird wood carvings. In 1986 he starting teaching carving classes and was active with Geppetto’s Wood Carvers, now known as the Wolf River Carvers. Dick also remained very active as a volunteer with the Navarino Nature Center, where he had been a board member for many years and a treasurer in its early growing years. He was a 40-year member and past officer of the American Foundry Society, a member of Lourdes Academy Booster Club, and treasurer and board member of the Universal Foundry Credit Union in Oshkosh. He was an ardent supporter of the Shawano County Humane Society and a board member of the Shawano County Arts Council. He was also a lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited.

Whenever possible, Dick loved to spend time with his beloved grandchildren. He took pride in being an active part of their lives and never missed the opportunity to attend their sporting events, plays or concerts. He remained very active throughout his life and continued to enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, bird-watching, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and biking. In 2011, Dick and Mary Jane, along with their entire family, celebrated the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary at Bayfield, where they had vacationed for many years.

Dick is survived by his wife of more than 52 years, Mary Jane; his three children, Mary Ellen Karst, of Madison, Tom (Lynn) Karst, of Elm Grove, Susan (Tom) Vande Walle, of Greenville; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Vande Walle and Ryan Karst; and 12 siblings, Kathleen Lemke, Susan (Lee) Pesch, Patty (Mike) O’Brien, Terry (Janet) Karst, Roy (Patti) Karst, Bonnie (Ralph) Alphonso, Steve Karst and Mary Lou (Mark) Backus, all of Oshkosh, Karen (Gary) La Chey, of Larsen, Jacqueline (Howie) Goeden, of Ripon, Marcia (Marty) Caiblin, of Hawaii, and Bob (Sandy) Karst, of Wichita Falls, Kan.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Tom Karst; and two sisters, Barbara Karst and Carol Olk.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Cecil with the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Shawano. Memorials can be directed to the Navarino Nature Center and the Shawano County Humane Society.

Elaine F. Jones

Elaine F. Jones, 75, of Bonduel, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Shawano Medical Center.

Elaine was born on Jan. 3, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Mary (Fager) Gifford and Thomas Gifford.

Elaine moved in the late 1950s to Wisconsin, where she would meet Earl Jones. Earl and Elaine were united in marriage on Aug. 21, 1963, at the United Methodist Church in Shawano.

Elaine did home care for 10 years and then worked as a CNA at Birch Hill Care Center. She always took great pride in her jobs and caring for others until suffering a heart attack that made it so that she could no longer work. She had a deep love of animals and was always willing to help people any way she could. Her true passion was making her embroidery baby blankets and counted cross stitch.

Elaine is survived by her three daughters, Cindy Ramirez, Chris Jones and Julie (Eugene) Dayton; eight grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She is further survived by sisters and brothers in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Jones, in 2004. Her mother, Mary Ann Gifford, also preceded her in death in 1992.

Elaine will always be most remembered as a being a very social person and was well-known in the Shawano area for her volunteering with the auxiliary and Pillow Pals and for her love of shopping at Walmart.

Funeral services for Elaine Jones will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service of Shawano. Pastor Marty Black will officiate. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery of Shawano in the spring. Relatives and friends may call at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

A memorial fund is being established in the name of Elaine Jones.

Jeffrey A. Fish

Jeffrey A. “Joper” Fish, 52, of Green Bay, formerly of Neopit, started his journey to the Spirit World on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in Green Bay.

Jeff was born March 5, 1961, in Shawano, a son of Mary (Snake) Fish and the late Raymond B. Fish Sr. He attended tribal schools and graduated from Menominee Tribal High School in 1979.

Following school he was employed as an independent contractor, doing carpentry/construction on housing projects in Green Bay and the surrounding area.

He was a member of St Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit.

Joper was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as an accomplished musician. He loved spending time with his kids, especially in the outdoors.

He leaves four sons, Jeffrey (special friend Jenna) Fish Jr., of Green Bay, Jeremy Fish, of Keshena, Joel Fish, of Keshena, and Josh Fish, of Keshena; his mother, Mary Fish, of Middle Village; the mother of his children, Mary “Doo-Dar” Denny; three brothers, Raymond Fish Jr., of Neopit, Roger Fish, of Neopit, and Herman (Andrea) Fish, of Keshena; 10 sisters, Gwendolyn Fish, of Middle Village, Joan (Lonnie) Schreiber, of Gresham, Evora (special friend Scott) Webster, of Neopit, Mary (Larry) Skenadore, of Green Bay, Carmel (Toad) Lyons, of Neopit, Lauri (Randy) Reiter, of Keshena, Kathy (Robert) Munoz, of Green Bay, Rose (Duane) Pecore and Barbara Fish, both of Shawano, and Elaine (Vince) Pena, of Green Bay; many, many nieces and nephews.

Joper is further survived by his special cousins, Kyle Pecore, Craig Fish, Jessie LaRock, Mike Fish, Chauncey “Dinkman” Webster Jr., Robert “Scob” Webster, Dugan and Troy Webster.

He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Robert “Issa” Fish and Walter “Rock” Fish; and his special uncles, Kenneth “Paddo” Fish and Vincent “Billy Horse” Fish.

A funeral Mass for Jeffrey A. Fish will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 28, at 1:30 p.m. at St Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit. The Rev. David Barrett will be the celebrant. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Relatives and friends may call at the Menominee Tribal Community Center at St Anthony’s in Neopit after 5 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 26, until the time of Mass on Friday.

Earl W. Eake

Earl W. Eake, 92, of Shawano, died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at Shawano Medical Center in Shawano. He was born June 17, 1921, in Neenah to the late Leonard and Linda (Mueller) Eake.

Earl served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, Earl married Mabel Louise Hoffman on March 31, 1942, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah. Together they moved briefly to Appleton and then to Neenah, where Earl and Mabel farmed their 180-acre homestead located directly south of the Breezewood Lane and Tullar Road intersection. In 1954, Earl sold the farm and purchased a feed mill at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Minnesota Street, to be known as Eake Milling Co., and moved the family to Oshkosh.

After selling the mill property to The Morgan Door Co., Earl went on to work at U.S. Motors for more than 20 years as a welder, a skill he learned in the military. Always an entrepreneurial free spirit at heart, Earl started his own carpet and flooring sales and installation business that he operated until his retirement.

Shortly after his retirement, Mabel passed away. Earl then moved to the Shawano. Next he met his new partner for the rest of his life, Cecelia Anderson. Earl and Cecelia enjoyed their years together caring for the many dogs and cats that seemed to find their way to them for food and shelter.

Earl enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially deer hunting.

Surviving Earl are his children, Sherrianne Airola and Gary Eake (Jo Sawicki), both of Oshkosh; one brother, Eugene (Joan) Eake, of Neenah; three sisters, Marion (Howard Jr.) Larson, of Kaukauna, Carol Eake, of Chicago, Gloria Wollersheim, of Neenah; brother-in-law, John Quella, of North Carolina; plus several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with his parents, Earl was also preceded in death by his wife, Mabel; four sisters, Dolores, Lucille, Phyllis, and Janet; and two brothers, Orvin and Kenneth.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 4120 County Road M (northeast corner of state Highway 153 and County Road M), Stratford, with a luncheon for family and friends to immediately follow until 3:30 p.m. There will be no graveside service, but Earl will be laid to rest in the Ebenezer United Church of Christ Cemetery.

On Sunday, March 2, 2014, from 1:30-4 p.m. an additional memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at Robbins Restaurant, 1810 Omro Road, Oshkosh.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Shawano County Humane Society, 1290 Jaycee Court, Shawano.

Cecelia and Earl’s family offers many thanks to the staff of ResCare Home Care Services, Birch Hill Nursing Home and Shawano Medical Center for the professional and caring services they provided Earl during his times of need.

Matthew M. Bystol

Matthew Morris “Matt” Bystol, 43, of Shawano, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, in Vilas County. Born on Dec. 17, 1970, in Shawano, he was the son of Mike and Barbara (Lahti) Bystol.

After graduating from Shawano High School in 1988, Matt attended Fox Valley Technical Collage for one year. In 1991 Matt enlisted with the United States Marines and served his country for nearly two years. After service, Matt worked as a press operator for Creator Services in Clintonville. When not at work he enjoyed musky fishing, hunting and spending time in the Eagle River area. Matt was a member of the Figure 8 Musky Club.

Matt is survived by his parents, Mike and Barb Bystol of Shawano, and a brother, Scott (Jill) Bystol, of Grand Junction, Colo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites conducted by Shawano American Legion Post 117. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Linda A. Dickenson

Linda Amy Dickenson, 47, of Green Bay, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in Green Bay. Born on Sept. 9, 1966, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Shirley (Elm) Dickenson.

After graduating from high school, Linda worked for the Just 4 Kids Day Care in Green Bay. She loved the kids there and gave each one a nickname. Linda was also a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered as the one who could always make you laugh.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Boyd, of Green Bay; two sons, Kenneth J. Boyd and Warren J. Boyd, both of Green Bay; and eight grandchildren, Savannah, Max, Cali Rose, Achilles, Deziray, Taylor, Deliah and Donovan. She is further survived by two sisters, Brenda and Robintina Dickenson; four brothers, Richard, Mark and Bruce Dickenson, and Greg Elm; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and a great aunt, Frieda Bergeon.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Boyd; her parents; a grandson, Jonathon; and her companion, Jeffrey Fish.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O. Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Friday from noon until 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A parish wake service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7 p.m.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.

David A. Rand

David Allen Rand, 70, of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at his home. Born on Oct. 16, 1943, in Chicago, he was the son of the late Milton and Pearl (Ledger) Rand.

In 1947 his family moved back to the Chili area in Clark County. David grew up on a farm with many brothers and sisters. He was a part of the last generation to attend one-room country schools. After graduating in 1961, he traveled about 6,000 miles by motorcycle to Texas and California. David joined the Army in 1962 and was later sent to Japan, where he worked in the Army Security Agency for 27 months. In Japan, he met Kazuko, who later became his wife. They were married Sept. 25, 1965. Upon returning to the U.S., David worked for a year at General Motors in Janesville before enrolling at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, then transferring to UW-Stevens Point, where he majored in natural resource management, history and secondary education. He then got his master’s degree from UW-SP in broadfield social studies. While at UW-SP he was a founding member of Veterans for Peace.

In 1971, David and Kazuko moved to Shawano, where he eventually started a 25-year teaching career at the Menominee Indian School District. David’s activities included camping, canoe building, traveling, backpacking, pottery, running, photography, practicing and teaching karate. He was also involved in the Shawano Old Time Music and Crafts Festival for 20 years and helped organize Miles of Art-Shawano County.

David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kazuko; children, Patricia (Bob) Hedrick and Doug Rand; and siblings, Howard (Carol) Rand, Mark (Diane) Rand, Terry (Sharon) Rand, Marilyn (Johnny) Scott, Eugene Rand, Elizabeth (Randy) Ramker; sister-in-law, Becky Rand; and nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Pearl; sisters, MaryAnn and Stella; brother, Gary; and niece, Tanya.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham with the Rev. David McElroy, O. Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for Miles of Art-Shawano County would be greatly appreciated.

Lorraine E. Meyer

Lorraine Emilie Meyer, 82, of Shawano, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Evergreen Care Center.

Lorraine was born June 15, 1931, in Bonduel. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ida (Heller) Boettcher. Lorraine was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1949.

On July 10, 1965, she was united in marriage to Ralph Meyer, of Shawano, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Ralph preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 2012. Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper for Village Farm Dairy in Bonduel and Morning Glory Farms in Shawano for many years. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a faithful member of St. Paul and enjoyed worshiping there. Lorraine also enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, cooking, baking and making artificial flower arrangements.

Lorraine is survived by her beloved son, James, of Shawano; a sister, Violet Beilfuss, of Bonduel; special niece and goddaughter, Kathy (Keith) Wilcox, of Pulaski and their daughters Kendall and Kallie; special nephew, Brian (Carrie) Beilfuss, of Bonduel, and their sons Noah, Adam, and Carter; sisters-in-law Elaine (Donald) Klitz, of Pella, Diane (Wayne) Krueger, of Neenah; brothers-in-law, Mer Meyer, of Suamico, David (Pili) Meyer, of Port Angeles, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lorraine was also preceded in death by brother-in-law, Robert Beilfuss, and sister-in-law, Patti Meyer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel at 11 a.m. with Pastor Timothy Shoup officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church cemetery in Bonduel.

Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.

The family would like to especially thank Dr. Beth Gillis for the wonderful care she provided, to the wonderful and caring staff at Evergreen Care Center for the excellent care of Lorraine, and to Pastors Shoup and Palmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church and Lutheran Hour Ministries.
