Ione V. Stueck, 87, of the Township of Navarino, Shawano County, left her home here on March 1, 2014, at the Appleton Medical Center in a ray of sunshine and was excited to experience her new home with her Savior.
Ione was born on Aug. 14, 1926, in Mattoon, Shawano County, the daughter of the late Richard and Anna (Timm) Riemer. She was confirmed at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, and graduated from Clintonville High School. Ione was united in marriage to James R. Out of all of her jobs, Ione was the family caregiver; a responsibility she took seriously and with love. Ione’s caring nature will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Mom, you were a great woman, wife, mom, grandmother, and friend! Your legacy to us was to work hard, keep a good sense of humor, don’t take yourself too seriously, take care of and love each other, and to trust in the Lord in all you do. We love you almost as much as you loved us.
Ione’s family would like to thank the staff on the third floor at Appleton Medical Center and Theda Care at Home Hospice for making her last days comfortable and peaceful. You are awesome!
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting her family with the arrangements.
