Osborne Peter Crowe, 80, of Neopit, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at the Appleton Medical Center. Osborne was born May 25, 1933, in Keshena, the son of David Crowe and Alice Makimatas.
He is survived by Candy Crowe, Lanette Crowe, Kevin Crowe, Larry Crowe and Richard Crowe, all of Green Bay; Osborne Peter Crowe Jr. (Jerreda) and Angel (Les) Gristeau, both of Keshena; and Daniel “DJ” (Michelle) Smith and John (Jackie) Anwash, both of Blackwell. He is further survived by numerous grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Alice; son, Patrick John; wife, Lois Pemma Crowe; grandson, John Frank Anwash Jr.; brothers, Tom Crowe, Steve Tellen and Tom Kelly; sisters, Jennie Crowe and Opal Tellen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, after 3 p.m. at the Potawatomi Cultural Center, Crandon. Native American services will be on Sunday, Dec. 29, at noon with Spiritual Leader Billy Daniels conducting services. Interment will be at the Potawatomi Tribal Cemetery, Blackwell.
