Luella Mildred Krueger, 96, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Birch Hill.
Luella was born in the town of Richmond on July 24, 1919, the daughter of the late Theodore and Laura (Beversdorf) Meyer. On Oct. 21, 1944, Luella was united in marriage to Gilbert L. Krueger. Gilbert preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2001. She and Gilbert owned and operated a farm in the town of Richmond all their married life.
Luella was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano and enjoyed hunting, gardening, her dog and cats.
Luella is survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; her son, Jerry Krueger; her parents; and one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Adeline Meyer.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
