Inez C. Heling, 91, of Shawano, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, Nov. 10, 2015, at Evergreen Care Center in Shawano.
Inez was born on Feb. 3, 1924, in Shawano, a daughter of the late John and Ida (Gehrke) Bluemke. She attended Bowler High School. On Aug. 25, 1945, she was united in marriage to Elton Heling at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. Following their marriage the couple lived in Shawano. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1986. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Inez was an avid Packers fan. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and being with her family.
Survivors include her loving children, Ronald Heling, of Appleton, Judy Moede, of Green Bay, Mary (Lee) Marks, of Cottage Grove, and Kathy Heling, of Green Bay; three granddaughters, Michelle (Tony) Whitcomb, of De Pere, Kayla (Josh) Tueting, of Stoughton, and Marissa Marks, of Oregon, Wisconsin; three great-grandchildren, William, Bethany and Claire Whitcomb; and her sister, Lanore Flessert, of Shawano.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gilbert Bluemke.
A private family memorial service for Inez will be held on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service of Shawano. Pastor Ted Andrada will officiate. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
