Pauline June Beyer, 79, of the town of Wescott, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, in Shawano. Born on Jan. 13, 1935, in Fairchild, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Angeline (Schliter) Peterson.
After graduating high school, Pauline furthered her education with a degree in nursing from the Western Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse. As a registered nurse, Pauline’s kind heart and willingness to help others brought a love for her job that shined through to those around her. When not at work, Pauline enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for her beloved family. She also enjoyed telling stories and was known for letting her good sense of humor come through. Her strong faith and religious beliefs were also very important to Pauline. On March 14, 1997, she was united in marriage to Robert Beyer. The couple made their home in the Shawano area.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, David (Cheryl) Eisberner Sr., of Marshfield, Gregory (Luceanna) Eisberner, of Osseo, James (Betty) Eisberner, of Fairchild, Robert Eisberner, of Marshfield, Sherry (Bill) Behnke, of Cecil, Robert J. (Gloria) Beyer, of Shawano, Dick (Laurie) Beyer, of Wittenberg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Robert Peterson, of South Dakota, Lois Johnson, of Black River Falls, and Judy Peterson, of Blair.
Pauline was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Eisberner; her parents; and several siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with Mr. Robert Eberhardt, Mr. Luther Raine and Miss Edith Mack officiating. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery in the spring. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Shawano on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
