Mary F. (DeBruyne) Barton, 94, of Shawano, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015, in Shawano. She was born on Aug. 5, 1920, in Chicago.
Mary loved to dance and met her future husband, Bernard J. Barton, at the Aragon Ballroom. They were united in marriage on May 5, 1951, in Chicago, and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a wonderful woman with a great laugh. She was never angered or raised her voice. Mary also enjoyed playing pinochle. She will be missed by those that knew her.
Mary is survived by her niece, Phyllis Glocke, of Shawano; her great-niece, Kelly (Michael) Melone, of Shawano; her great-nephew, Shawn Butcher, of Green Bay; as well as three great-great-nieces, Kristen, Jamie and Akira.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in the Mary Hill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, Illinois.
