
Robert W. Doxtator, 63, of Gresham, passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014, in Green Bay. He was born in Algoma on April 18, 1951, the son of the late Benjamin and Bessie (Davids) Doxtator. Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force and is a member of the Mohican Veterans. On Dec. 22, 1990, in Waukesha, Robert was united in marriage to Debra Olejniczak, and they made Gresham their home in 2001. Robert previously lived in Alabama and Milwaukee. He had his sport pilot license, built his own airplane and was a member of the EAA.
Robert is survived by his wife, Debra; four children, Josh Doxtator, of South Milwaukee, Danny Doxtator, of Green Bay, Robert (Faye) Cartwright, of Century, Florida, and Kriste Goldsmith, of Germantown; and five grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, William (Wilma) Doxtator, Irvin (Nancy) Doxtator, Anderson Doxtator, Wilma DeMain, Penny (William) Thomas and Howard Doxtator.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sisters, Loraine Stilwell, Wilma’s twin brother, Wilford, Vickie Millard and Rhonda Brooks.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with the Rev. Ernie Geeting officiating with military rites conduct by the Mohican Veterans. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
