Elizabeth L. (Betty) Megna, 88, died on June 6, 2014.
Betty was born on July 26, 1925, in Guttenberg, Iowa. She attended grade and high school in Milwaukee. After World War II, Betty married Mark A. Megna on Aug. 30, 1947. They moved to Shawano, where Mark was a teacher and Betty a homemaker and then a part-time/full-time bookkeeper. Betty loved to play Bridge and they taught Bridge for many years while in Shawano.
Betty is survived by her four children, Michael (Alice) Megna, Maureen (James) Wiesner, Joseph (Mary) Megna and Tony (Roxanne) Megna; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark, who died in 1988.
Visitation will be at St. Martin Church, 407 S. Warrington Ave., Cecil, on Wednesday, June 11, from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
