Delores Dorothy Bucholtz, 85, of Gresham, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in Shawano. Born on April 17, 1928, in the town of Red Springs, she was the daughter of the late Jule and Meta (Duwe) Petrich.
On Feb. 22, 1947, Delores was united in marriage to Lloyd Bucholtz in the town of Red Springs. He preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 2008. Delores lived in Shawano County most of her life. She was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Morgan Siding and was active with the Ladies Aid. Delores took great pride in raising her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.
Delores is survived by three children, Helen Perry, of Gresham, Lloyd (Carol) Bucholtz, of Rosholt, Terry (Lottie) Bucholtz, of Bowler; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Manny (Pat) Petrich, Darlene Reif, Dorothy Bucholtz, Leon Petrich, Floyd (Rosie) Petrich; a brother-in-law, Harvey (Rita) Bucholtz; and a sister-in-law, Edna Gara.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; a son-in-law, Roger Perry; two great-grandsons, Aiden and Orion Perry; a stepgranddaughter, Tracy Suchowski; her parents; three sisters, June Cheyka, Joyce Newton, Mary Plummer; and a brother, Howard Petrich.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham. Burial will be in the Gresham Public Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Gresham from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
