
Sharon Ann Retzack, 57, formerly of Sheboygan, passed into eternal life on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at Autumn Lane Assisted Living in Birnamwood. She was born in Sheboygan on Jan. 8, 1958, the daughter of the late Edward and June (Beyer) Retzack. She attended Sheboygan South High School.
When Sharon was living in Sheboygan, she was employed at RCS Empowers. Her hobbies included needlework, cooking, jigsaw puzzles and puzzle books. In her younger years, Sharon was active in Special Olympics and particularly enjoyed biking and swimming. Sharon was also an avid animal lover.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Tom (Cathy) Retzack, of Sheboygan; sister, Susan Retzack, M.D., of Elm Grove; aunt, Norma Beyer, of Sheboygan; and cousins, Ann (Tom) Maakestad, of Minnesota, Catherine Babcock-Beyer, of Altadena, California, and Tim (Debra) Beyer, of Hudson; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Sharon’s parents, her uncles, Conrad Beyer and Robert (Helen) Retzack, and a cousin, Jeff Beyer, preceded her in death.
A graveside service will take place at Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9. Memorials in Sharon’s name may be directed to the Wisconsin Special Olympics and/or the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.
Sharon’s family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the staff at Autumn Lane Assisted Living in Birnamwood and Manor Care Nursing Home in Shawano for the kind and compassionate care that was given to her. The considerable patience and grace given to Sharon was very appreciated by her family.
