John Terry Malone Sr., 60, of De Pere, passed away on Aug. 13, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. John was born on Oct. 11, 1954, in Shawano to the late Otho H. and Sophrona (Doxtator) Malone. On Oct. 11, 2009, John was united in marriage to Mary Parra in Bowler. John had a great smile and a great sense of humor. He was a generous man, always willing to help others. In his free time, John enjoyed playing the guitar, working on cars, and taking road trips. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be deeply missed.
John is survived by his wife, Mary; four children, Shashe, Shawnaway, John Jr. and Angelina; his grandchildren, Layla, Isabella, Diovani, Delano, DheOntro, Pearl, Daniel, Donte, DaMarcus, Xzaundre, Allysandra, Niyah, Alliauna, Avryauna, and another granddaughter on the way. He is further survived by two sisters, Lois (Melvin) Siim and Brenda Curtis, both of Bowler; one brother, Wayne (Cheryl) Malone, of Bowler, and his father-in-law, Gilbert Parra.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Donna, Velma, and Eleanor; and one brother, Otho.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015 at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Visitation will be held at the Malone Residence located at 2803 Metoxen Lane in De Pere on Friday from 4 p.m. until the procession leaves for the funeral home on Sunday.
