Galen R. Case, 64, of Cecil, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at the Appleton Medical Center, where he had been a patient for the past six days.
Galen was born on Jan. 3, 1951, in Oshkosh, a son of Geraldine L. Case and the late Carlton F. Case. He attended school in Oshkosh and Shawano, and later graduated from Gillett High School. Following school he was employed at the feed mill in the town of Green Valley. He was later employed at Aarrowcast Inc. in Shawano for over 28 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling and Rummy 500. He was a hardworking man who was very protective of his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl (Christopher) Ruehle, of Cecil; two grandchildren, Malique and Jadyn Radomski; four brothers and three sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; two granddaughters, Maria and Jaci Garcia-Case; and three sisters.
A memorial service for Galen Case will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at Mickelson Funeral & Cremation Service of Shawano, officiated by St. John Lutheran Church, Pulaski. Relatives and friends may call at Mickelson Funeral Service on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
