William R. “Bill” Koch, 66, of Cobb, died on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at his home due to complications of diabetes.
Bill was born on May 29, 1948, in Shawano to William and Myrtle (Brandenberg) Koch. He was a 1966 graduate of the Marion High School. He then attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Bill married Denise Benson of Dodgeville on March 17, 1985. They lived in Denver, Colorado, where Bill worked as a bail bondsman until returning to Wisconsin in 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Audrey Schofield and her husband, Phil; and many aunts and uncles.
Bill is survived by his wife, Denise, of Cobb; two sisters, JoAnn (Wally) Niklaus, of Rosemound, Minnesota, and Carrol (Terry) Mayne, of The Villages, Florida; his dogs, Ava and Mocha; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes returned to Colorado.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
