Lois Ann Barry, 81, of Shawano, died on Friday, April 10, 2015.
Born on July 17, 1933, in Madison, Lois was the daughter of the late Tester and Lillian (Gilbertson) Bakken.
Lois was united in marriage to Glen A. “Jack” Barry on June 23, 1955, in Madison. The couple moved to Shawano in 1962. Lois enjoyed golfing, bowling, downhill skiing, gardening and playing bridge with friends. As a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano, Lois was active with the Stephen Ministries. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Lois is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack, of Shawano; four children, Betsy (Jim ) Audetat, of Shawano, Tom (Patti) Barry, of Green Bay, Michael (Crystal) Barry, of Franklin, Jack (Joanne) Barry, of New Zealand; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (fiancé Mike Marvel) Schutt, Brandon Schutt, Maxwell Barry, Brigette Barry, Amanda Barry, Brooke Barry and Cassandra Barry, J.D. Barry; two stepgrandsons, Scott Audetat and Todd (Heather) Audetat; two great-stepgrandchildren, Parker and Kylie Audetat; and her sister, Phyllis Parisi, of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano with the Rev. Ted Andrada officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
