Richard Przybylski, 84, a lifelong resident of Angelica, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer, while listening to his favorite polka music at the farm on which he was born. His wife and his sons were at his side.
Richard was very proud of his Polish heritage and the Pulaski area, and enjoyed Polka Days and Polish food. On Aug. 27, 1955, he married Phyllis Banaszynski at Assumption B.V.M. Church in Pulaski. The couple farmed in the town of Maple Grove, where they raised their two sons, David and Dennis. Phyllis preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 1976. Richard was always very proud of his sons and their families.
On June 16, 1979, he married Pat Linders, and the couple farmed together. After “retiring,” they enjoyed traveling, and put on many miles to enjoy the music of Chad Przybylski and his Polka Rhythm Band.
As a young man Richard was a good softball player and later enjoyed watching his granddaughter, Katie, play softball. He always watched the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, and all kinds of sports on TV.
