Thomas W. DeRoo Sr., 53, of Shawano, died on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at his home.
Tom was born in Superior on July 4, 1961, to Dolores (Burnett) DeRoo-Kelley and the late Archie DeRoo. He has lived in the Shawano area the past 20 years and enjoyed golfing.
Thomas is survived by his five children, Thomas Jr., Holly, James, Ashley and Jessica; his mother and stepfather, Dolores DeRoo-Kelley and David Kelley; his brother, Daniel DeRoo; and his sister, Katherine Eastman.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Archie, and his brother, Scott.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano.
