Michael Kenneth John died unexpectedly of a heart attack Dec. 20 early in the morning. Due to medical reasons, Michael was staying with his parents, Ken and Donna John, who live on Shawano Lake.
Michael was a gifted machinist who worked both in Milwaukee and Seattle, Washington. He and his wife, Susan, lived in Milwaukee, but he enjoyed spending time fishing on Shawano Lake and was here all summer.
He will be buried in a Milwaukee cemetery, and Swedberg Funeral Home is helping to move him there.
Survivors include his wife, Sue (Capuano); parents, Ken and Donna (Bigelow) John; and sister, Valerie (Tom) Miller.
The family will receive friends at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Ave., Wauwatosa, on Monday, Dec. 29, from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
