James Leo Lieg, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away on Dec. 2, 2014. He was 70 years old. James was born on April 28, 1944 to Leo and Betty Lieg in Shawano. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He also worked at the University of Texas Medical Branch on Galveston Island as a nuclear medicine tech for almost 30 years. He enjoyed tennis, billiards and riding his motorcycle; however, his friends and family were always kept close to his heart with constant communication throughout the years. His great knowledge and sense of humor were always with him and will be missed by all.
Jim is survived by his two children, Nancy Lieg and Loretta Parker; six grandchildren; and his former wife, Cathy Lieg.
