
Cheryl Lynn Jacobs, 62, of Keshena, passed away on Sept. 30, 2014, in Appleton. Born on Sept. 20, 1952, in Salamanca, New York, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Reva (Dowdy) Jacobs.
Cheryl loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed cheering for her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cheryl enjoyed to cook, especially for her family. She was a loyal, generous, caring person who loved to spend time with her friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Laura Joette (Mike Gross) Cooper, of Salamanca, New York, William Gavin O’Bail Cooper, of Salamanca, Marvin Donald Cooper, of Salamanca, Kirby James Ferguson, of Salamanca, Trudy Lynnette Oldshield, of Little Valley, New York, Pamanet (Tonya) Sackatook, of Shawano, and Frank (Lynn Ninham) Sackatook, of Shawano; 19 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Ebony Peters; her siblings, Janis Jacobs Bowen, of Salamanca, Alena Eileen Jacobs, of Steamburg, New York, and Merrie Carol Jacobs, of Salamanca; one aunt, Corrine Dowdy Redeye, of Steamburg. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Cheryl was preceded in death by one daughter, Carlen Lee Pierce, her parents and her siblings, Randall James Jacobs, Kirby Frank Jacobs, Elizabeth Jane Harrison and Thomas Lynn Jacobs. A traditional service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at the residence of Mr. Dustin Tourtillott Sr., N442 Chief Souligney Road, Keshena. Visitation will be held at the Tourtillott residence from 12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, until the time of the service on Saturday.
