James Edward Wolfarth, 62, of Shawano, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, in Madison. He was born on April 6, 1952, in Whittier, California, to Kathryn (Ohrwall) Wolfarth and the late Edward Wolfarth.
On Aug. 27, 1976, he was united in marriage to Patsy Pennington. James enjoyed boating, motorcycles and playing poker. What James loved most was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his children, Erika (David) Betz, James Klier, Tanya (Sergio) Romero, Christina Wolfarth, Michael (fiancée Ashley) Wolfarth; 16 grandchildren; his mother, Kathyrn Wolfarth; one sister, Jeanne (William) Martin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at the Hope Community Church in Shawano with the Rev. Randy Oss officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano and again from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church Friday. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
