Ansel was employed by the American Can Corporation for 39 years until his retirement. He and Jean started Malcore’s Central Vac’s, which became a family business and remains a family business with their son Steve as the current owner. Upon retiring from the central vac business they moved to Shawano and resided in their home on the channel, where many days were spent admiring the beauty of Mother Nature. Ansel loved watching all the birds and wildlife from their backyard and truly enjoyed taking the family on pontoon rides.
