Dean F. Kroenke

Dean F. Kroenke, 81, was called home to the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, after a long battle with heart failure. He was born May 16, 1932, in Shawano.

Dean graduated from MSOE with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and was proud to have worked on the Atlas missile and the Apollo space programs

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sally (nee Koeppen); daughters, Nanette (Terry) Kloth and Nadine (Scott) Miller; and son, Michael. Beloved grandfather of Megan Kloth and Aidan Miller. He is also survived by a sister, Shirley Wolff, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Llewelyn.

Visitation will take place Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 W. Janesville Road, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Dr. Keith Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Heritage Funeral Homes (Altstadt-Tyborski-Johnson-Reiss-Klemmer) is assisting the family.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Tucker, Mary Keller, NP, Dr. Zwicke and her staff, the staff of 9T at Aurora SLMC, the staff of VNA hospice, as well as Dr. Skold and his staff of Oak Creek Urgent Care.
