
Eva A. Schultz, 88, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, in Shawano.
Eva was born on Sept. 12, 1927, in Shawano to the late Walter and Ida (Dey) Kucksdorf. On Sept. 13, 1947, she was united in marriage to Clarence Schultz at Elias Lutheran Church in the town of Herman. Clarence preceded her in death on July 31, 1994. Together, the family owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of Herman for many years. She was an active member of Elias Lutheran Church, serving as the secretary for the Ladies Aid. In her spare time, Eva enjoyed baking, crocheting, dancing and playing cards.
Eva is survived by two children, Dennis (Nancy) Schultz, of Shawano, and Bonnie (Louis) Buch, of New London; five grandchildren, Jessi (Matt) Haines, Jamie (Ben) Bouchette, Jenny (Mike) McCollian, Emily and Andrew Schultz; six great-grandchildren, Zalia, Zinnia and Zoriah Haines, Dylan Bouchette, Maya and James McCollian; as well as one brother, Roger (Hazel) Kucksdorf, of Shawano.
Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Elias Lutheran Church in the town of Herman with Lay Minister Lois Graper officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. and again on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
